Wash & fold is laundry priced by weight: we wash, dry and fold everything in your bag, and you pay for the pounds we weigh. With LaundryLocal it costs $2.49 per pound in NYC and $2.09 per pound on Long Island, with a $35 minimum, and pickup and delivery included over it. Orders come back in 24–48 hours in NYC and 48–72 hours on Long Island.

How it works
- Book a windowEnter your ZIP, choose wash & fold, and pick a 2-hour pickup window. Your card is saved, not charged.
- Leave the bag outYour driver scans the bag’s QR tag and photographs it at your door. You do not need to be home.
- Weighed or counted, then sent to youAt the plant we weigh the bag or count the garments and send you the total an hour before we charge your saved card.
- Back to your doorFolded or on hangers, returned in the window you chose, with a live tracking link and a delivery photo.

Wash & fold questions
How much does a bag of laundry weigh?
It depends on what is in it. Weigh it at home on a bathroom scale (you, then you holding the bag) to estimate. You only pay for what the plant scale shows, weighed dry.
Is my laundry washed with other people’s?
No. Each bag is washed and dried on its own and tracked by its QR tag from your door back to your door.
Can I choose my detergent?
Yes. Classic fresh, fragrance-free or plant-based, plus fabric softener on or off. Your choice stays on file for every order.
When is my card charged?
After your order is weighed or counted at the plant. We send you the total first, then we charge the card you saved at booking. Nothing is charged when you book.
Is there sales tax on laundry or dry cleaning in New York?
No. New York excludes laundering, dry cleaning and pressing services from sales tax.
